About

A physician-led practice on Vancouver Island

Monarch Health looks after more than 5,000 people across family medicine, executive health, and care at home. The memberships described on this site formalise something the practice has been doing for years — organising care around health rather than only around illness.

What that continuity makes possible is straightforward: when the same team looks after someone across decades, a change is visible as a change. That is difficult to replicate through episodic care, and it is the foundation everything else here rests on.

Our values

  • Respect

Every person treated with dignity, kindness and compassion, and diverse perspectives genuinely valued.

  • Integrity

Doing the right thing when it is difficult — honesty, accountability and transparency, including about what we do not know.

  • Innovation

Challenging the status quo with curiosity, evidence and continuous learning, rather than with novelty for its own sake.

  • Professional pride

High standards of clinical care, service and professionalism, held consistently rather than occasionally.
