Monarch Executive

Establish the baseline everything later is measured against, then optimize your health, detect disease early and maintain performance through your working years.

Adults from their twenties to their sixties — from a considered starting point taken while you are well, through the decades when risk accumulates quietly and time is scarcest. The value of a baseline is that a change years from now is visible as a change rather than as a new normal; the value of a comprehensive assessment is that this is the window in which finding something early changes what happens next. How deep the assessment goes is set by your stage, not by a birthday.

You will receive a written record of exactly what your membership includes before any services begin.

What this membership includes

  • An annual assessment, scaled to your stage

A structured baseline in your twenties and thirties — history, family history, how you live, core bloodwork — growing into a full day of assessment covering detailed bloodwork, physical measures and fitness as the decades add risk.

  • Risk-guided early detection

Cancer, cardiovascular and genetic screening pathways where they are clinically appropriate for you, with imaging where indicated.

  • Physician-led interpretation

An unhurried conversation about what the assessment found, what it means, what is worth attention now and what is worth watching.

  • A written plan you can actually act on

A small number of specific things to work on, chosen because they matter most at your stage — not a list of thirty.

  • Targeted re-measurement during the year

When something is being worked on, it is re-measured on a sensible interval rather than left until next year.

  • Habit and lifestyle guidance

Practical support on sleep, movement, nutrition and stress, revisited as your circumstances change.

  • Coordination across your care

Referrals, results and follow-up held together by a care coordinator, so you are not the one chasing them.

  • Access to the member app and care team

Your plan, results, record and messaging in one place, with support between assessments.

Assessment

What we measure, and how often

An annual assessment that starts as a baseline and deepens with your stage, with targeted re-measurement during the year where something is being actively managed.

Annually, with interim re-measurement of anything under active management.

What the assessment covers

  • Personal, family and occupational history
  • Lifestyle review — sleep, movement, nutrition, alcohol, stress
  • Bloodwork, extending to cardiovascular and metabolic markers with age
  • Physical measures — body composition, blood pressure, fitness
  • Cognitive and mental wellbeing review, and social connection
  • Risk-guided screening and imaging where clinically appropriate

Day to day

How the membership works between assessments

An assessment once or twice a year is not a relationship. These are the things that keep Monarch present in between.

  • Results explained, not just delivered

Every result is presented with what it means and what, if anything, follows from it.

  • Your plan and your record together

What you agreed to work on, alongside the measurements it should move — held over years rather than scattered across visits.

  • Direct access to your care team

Messaging, and a coordinator who knows your file when something needs arranging.

  • Wearable data, if you use one

Sleep and activity data can feed into the picture your care team works from.

Clinical programs this membership draws on

Programs are delivered within a membership rather than bought separately. Which ones apply depends on what your assessment finds and what you and your physician decide to work on.

How this works with the public system

Insured physician services continue to be billed to MSP. This membership covers uninsured services — assessment, prevention planning, coordination, monitoring and support. It does not replace your family physician or provide faster access to MSP-covered investigations.

Monarch Health’s memberships and private programs cover uninsured services only. Services that are covered by the BC Medical Services Plan (MSP) continue to be billed to MSP. You will receive a written record of what your membership includes before any services begin.
This program does not guarantee access to or replace a General Practitioner, Family Physician, or any Medical Service Plan (MSP) insured primary care services. It also does not provide expedited access to MSP-covered laboratory tests, diagnostic investigations, or specialist referrals.
