Function
Functional Assessments
Direct measurement of what you can actually do, tracked over time.
Bloodwork describes biology; functional assessment describes capability. Measuring strength, balance, gait, endurance and day-to-day function gives a picture that laboratory results alone cannot, and it is the measure that matters most as people get older.

What it involves
- Strength and grip measurement
- Balance and gait speed
- Endurance and functional capacity
- Day-to-day activity review
- Repeat measurement so change is visible rather than inferred
