Menopause & Perimenopause

Clinically grounded care through a transition that is often navigated alone.

Perimenopause and menopause affect sleep, mood, cognition, bone and cardiovascular health, and are frequently managed with less clinical support than they warrant. This program provides structured assessment and evidence-based management, with the time to actually discuss options.

What it involves

  • Structured symptom and history assessment
  • Relevant bloodwork and bone health review
  • Evidence-based discussion of management options, including hormone therapy where appropriate
  • Attention to sleep, mood, metabolic and cardiovascular health
  • Follow-up and adjustment over time

Coverage

Insured and uninsured components

This program combines insured and uninsured components. Insured physician services and any medically necessary investigations are billed to MSP as usual. The uninsured components — assessment depth beyond what MSP covers, planning, coordination and ongoing monitoring — are covered by your membership.

This program does not guarantee access to or replace a General Practitioner, Family Physician, or any Medical Service Plan (MSP) insured primary care services. It also does not provide expedited access to MSP-covered laboratory tests, diagnostic investigations, or specialist referrals.

How to access this program
